Use Case Development Process

Use_Case_Process.png

Archives:

The Use Case Document went through a three step consensus process (Comment, Consensus, Recast of Consensus Vote). The first part of the consensus process was to gather comments from all Data Segmentation For Privacy Work Group Members on the proposed use case. We discussed the comments collected on our Work Group calls. Once the comments were dispositioned the Use Case was ready for the second step in the process; Consensus Voting. The Consensus Voting process was open to all "committed" work group members. Each Member's organization was given one vote. Once the consensus vote was completed, the support team worked with those who voted to ensure the "Yes with Comment" and "No" votes were rectified. Once the support team rectified the comments the voting members were asked to recast their votes to ensure that in the process of rectifying votes we did not create a situation where a voter thought the changes made would change his/her vote from a "yes" to a "no". The final Use Case was sent to the voting members (those members who voted in the previous consensus) for a recast. Consensus on the Use Case document was complete on March 26th, 2012. (see above for final version of the Data Segmentation for Privacy Use Case Document)
